Detroit Outdoor Newborn Photographer | Grosse Pointe, Troy, Rochester Hills, Birmingham, Royal Oak

The last few years, my outdoor newborn sessions have really taken off. I remember in the past I used to have ask newborn clients to think about going outside. Now, I have people calling me for them! I adore these sessions. I love that not many offer them. I love that my work really stands out and I love that so many of my clients tell me that my work speaks to them.

I love the process of planning these sessions - location scouting to find the right spots. Shopping for props. All my props fit into one of two categories - functional (keeping baby warm, holding the baby in a safe position, creating a barrier between nature and baby) or story telling. This little guy has a jungle themed nursery so we pulled in a few animals that tell the story of being little (what baby does not love a stuffie?) and to help his parents remember planning the nursery and spending time in the nursery.

I photographed this little Grosse Pointe Newborn baby boy back in July. I know I am late on posting, but his photos are so cute I had to put them up and show them off.

This little guy's grandma hired me to as a shower gift. Excited, loving nanas are often my biggest fans! I love that even the boy parents love the rose garden and the colors it brings into the images.
